What is Gymnastics "Raw"?
Gymnastics "Raw" can be stated simply: Applying basic gymnastics skills and techniques to overcome obstacles as swiftly and efficiently as possible using only your body. The fundamentals include gymnastics skills in addition to running, jumping, and climbing, and we build on these fundamentals to improve our ability to pass over, under, around and through obstacles with more complex movements (via Ninja type obstacles.) Gymnastics "Raw" is a system of fitness training that improves strength, speed, balance, agility, coordination, stamina, endurance, and precision. It offers a full-body workout at any level of experience, and improves your ability to move and to harness your confidence.
*Everyone must start out at the beginner level to learn safety tumbling. Coaches will evaluate after first class.
**If you have taken a gymnastics class here at Haydens before, you must still register for the beginner class to evaluate what level Gymnastics "Raw" you are qualified to attend.
Our Gymnastics "Raw" Open Gym is on Saturdays, the cost is $15 for members. See the front page under "What's Happening at Haydens" to see our next scheduled open gym.
Annual Registration Fee: $55
1-Gymnastics "Raw" class per week (1.5 hrs)- $87.50 per month
2-Gymnastics "Raw" classes per week (3 hrs)- $155 per month
3-Gymnastics "Raw" classes per week (4.5 hrs)- $214.00 per month
ALL STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A Gymnastics "Raw" T-SHIRT THAT MUST BE WORN TO ALL PRACTICES. ($15.00) SOLD IN Main Gym PRO SHOP.
Level 1 (Beginner) - Basic beginner; Introduction to precisions, rolls, bar swings, and strength
Level 2 (Intermediate) - Vault and bar work. Introduction to wall tricks and flips
Level 3 (Advanced) - Flips and more advanced moves from level 1 and 2. All flips on ground.
Level 4 (Experienced) - Wide open; All flips and advanced moves.
